Current Needs (as of January 2007)
From time to time, we have needs for volunteers to perform specific tasks or for donated items for the families we serve, such as clothing, furniture and other miscellaneous items.
Below is a list of our current needs.
Family Advocate
Are you looking for hands on, face to face, deeper interaction with the families we serve? A Family Advocate's role involves mentoring, support, and accountability. An Advocate works with a family during the duration of their stay in the Network, about 90 days. Since the Advocate is a volunteer, the intense involvement with a family is followed by a dormant period. Training is provided. Please contact Lois Bowman at 215-628-2334 for more information.
Appliances
We sometimes need replacement electric stoves and refrigerators. Please ask Bernadette at 215-628-2334 for more information.
Clothing & Furniture
We sometimes have specific clothing or furniture needs, please ask Bernadette at 215-628-2334 for more information.
Tools
We sometimes need shop and garden tools. Please ask Bernadette at 215-628-2334 for more information.
