This month we want to share the story of a new volunteer, Jadon, who comes to us courtesy of a new partnership with the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit that helps young adults build their resumes.
Our clients love the fresh produce we are providing this summer! We are so grateful to all of you who have donated veggies from your gardens, especially to our longtime donors from Congregation Beth Or’s “Corner of Our Land.”
It’s been a busy month at the Food Cupboard. We were so grateful to be the beneficiaries of food drives held by Abington-area first responders and the Abington Township Environmental Advisory Council.
Meet our Food Cupboard Manager, Rachael McNeill, who joined us this month. We’re so glad to welcome her!
We are so grateful for our community support. We have been able to serve hundreds of families because of you! And we thank you in advance for your continuous generosity.
The pandemic rush has not let up: we’re still serving hundreds of families a week this spring. Your generosity has kept some of our shelves overflowing–we have enough pasta sauce to last for months!
If you’d like to give some of your time to the Food Cupboard, we’d love to hear from you! Come weekly or just for a “one-off.”
And we’re providing more than food—we’re decreasing stigma and inspiring hope.
